HISTORY...
It was late 2003 (P22/liter of gas), and
the xrm bike was introduced in the market. I bought one because I really
wanted an enduro bike kaya lang kapos ang budget and since mukha naman
offride bike ang xrm kaya nagustuhan ko na rin. XRM bikes was very few back
then and my god accessories was very rare, kaya I had to customize my pipe.
Then I met a fellow xrm rider (Nandy Sempio) he asked me if I wanted to go
with him at J. Vargas at Pasig to meet the "Honda XRM Riders Club". So from
Bulacan dinayo namin ang meeting place ng group and became a member on
13 Feb 2004. It was a well established group with veteran riders, madami akong
natutunan sa kanila. As I remember the President is Mr. Caloy Santos. Doon
ko na - meet sila Rodel, Jet and others... Ok na sana, kaya lang naging
negosyo na yung grupo and conflict of interests.
Nabasag ang grupo into different places, Pasig, Mandaluyong, Manila and
Bulacan. The F4 (Yours truly, Nandy Sempio, Alvin Magno and Rodgie Baltazar)
of Bulacan started to form our own independent xrm club (ang layo kasi). So
nakuha nman sa tiyaga en lumaki ang grupo into 30 members. Manila group
asked us if we wanted to form a new group out of "Honda XRM Riders Club" . I
even remember "Magdalo pa ang bansag sa amin nun ng mga officers ng former
club namin". So we scheduled a ride to Hilltop Norzagaray Bulacan on June
12, 2004. I became the President of Bulacan, For Manila it was Rodel. The
aim of the group is to encourage commaraderie, riders safety, and helping
the less privilege people. And the rest is what you say is history.
